Approach
We collaborated with product management and marketing to review initial sketches and prototypes. Together with R&D and engineering, we analyzed potential weaknesses and challenges. Insightful brainstorming sessions led to new opportunities and solutions. We developed multiple prototypes, conducted usability tests and detailed all components to find the right suppliers.
Result
We transformed technical and mechanical challenges into unique design features that enhance Novy's market presence. The outcome is a sleek, innovative aluminum remote control and an LED safety indicator. The LED projects a red dot onto the floor, providing a subtle but clear warning that the worktop may be hot, helping users feel confident with this cutting-edge cooking technology.
