The demand for new and innovative water management solutions in urban environments is crucial, given the increase in extreme weather conditions. Prodotto has developed Deer for Cobefa, a new water-permeable concrete paver system that addresses current and future water management challenges..
Research
Our research revealed a genuine need in the infrastructure market for robust, stable, and aesthetically pleasing grass paving systems that offer vital support for heavy car and truck loads while also facilitating efficient water infiltration and promoting the growth of grasses and other vegetation.
Design Strategy
As a longtime partner in developments, we knew better than anyone that Cobefa excels in the production of reinforced concrete grid floors for the agricultural sector. We immediately recognized the opportunity to leverage this expertise and innovate within an entirely new market.
Easy Installation
Contractors find it incredibly easy to implement an architect's design, whether it involves permeable elements, borders, or ergonomic wall paths. Each component is standardized in size, allowing them to be quickly and efficiently positioned alongside one another using our specialized clamp. Truly plug and play.
Tool for Architects
The inaugural Deer collection comprises four distinct designs, each offering multiple variants that can be combined to create seamless transitions and eye-catching functional areas when designing new outdoor spaces. This system provides landscape architects with the perfect tool for water management.
From A-Z
We worked on this project from start to finish, from spotting the opportunity and analyzing the stakeholders to translating insights into a strategic design. We progressed from ideation to detailed design and followed through with manufacturing. Additionally, we focused on building a clear design DNA and helped translating it into a new brand strategy, identity and striking visuals.
